As you walk around the hotel, you’ll see plants and decorations that are pleasing to the eyes.
Strategic Location
This lovely property is a 20-minute drive from the White Temple. Tourists can cycle (the hotel offers bicycle rental) if they like or ask the hotel to help them book a tuk-tuk or taxi. Not far from the hotel are night markets and restaurants where you can have a drink, eat, or shop. From Nak Nakara Hotel, the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar is only 12 minutes away on foot.
Good Facilities and WiFi
In every room, guests can stay connected with the hotel’s free WiFi. Some people complained the internet wasn’t good. But I didn’t have a problem using the internet in my upper-floor room not very far from the pool.
My room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and I slept well. There’s a spa and massage service at the hotel. Alternatively, guests can opt for massage places just outside the hotel.
Good Breakfast Selections
Many guests were pleased with the hotel’s breakfast selections. I was pleased with the food, too. It was simple but not pretentious. The hotel offers Asian and Western cuisines, such as cereals, rice congee, pasta, bread, pastries, and more. For drinks, there are juices, milk, coffee, and tea. Of course, there are fruits for appetiser or desserts.
Are There Many Restaurants Nearby?
There are many nearby restaurants you can visit if you need to grab breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks. Some of the restaurants nearby are Bonjour Cafe, Cabbages and Condoms, and Somkhuan Khao Soi, which are only less than 200 m away.
If you’re willing to walk a little further, you’ll find more restaurants. La Ola Chiang Rai, which is about 12 minutes walk from Nak Nakara Hotel, is a great option. The food served at the restaurant is good and since the restaurant has an inviting and elegant atmosphere, it would make a lovely venue for special events, such as birthdays and anniversaries.
Is Staying at Nak Nakara Hotel in Chiang Rai Worth It?
Staying at Nak Nakara Hotel in Chiang Rais is worth it because it offers good hospitality, a strategic location, and peaceful surrounding. While it’s not the cheapest accommodation in Chiang Rai, consider staying at this hotel if you don’t mind spending more money on a nice hotel.
Final Thoughts
Based on my experience, Nak Nakara Hotel is a decent hotel in Chiang Rai to consider if you’re looking to stay somewhere peaceful, comfortable, and with a strategic location. I have no complaints about the hotel so far. If I could return to the hotel for the second time, I wouldn’t hesitate. You might like Nak Nakara Hotel, too. Who knows?
